The QPR of these Aussie chards has been off the charts lately, even in their youth. This killer follows up some outstanding wines from last year, with notes of grapefruit, dried mango, lemongrass, fresh cream, and vanilla. Amazing mouth feel with a long finish that keeps begging me to identify new flavors and smells. — 3 months ago
Expressive, floral, punchy!
What a nose!! Starts with some nice reduction but when it blows off, this just is amazing. Switching from floral and exotic aromas of fleur d’orange, candied citrus, candied ginger and ripe cantaloupe to salty, naked stones. And back. Amazing purity & freshness. So enticing!!
On the palate this is a thin layer of exotic citrus fruit on stony minerality. Juicy acidity, salty freshness, mineral depth. Such precision here. And depth.
What a discovery! This is brilliant stuff!! — 2 months ago

La masía translates as "the farmhouse," which Marimar Estate was designed to resemble. Medium Ruby with aromas of red fruits, dried herbs and earthy spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with toasty notes and herb cinnamon spice. Full-bodied, fine soft textured tannins, long finish ending with juicy fruit and spicy herb character. Nice! — 5 months ago
Spicy and earthy. Great fruit and balance. Really coming together. — 6 months ago
Ruby coloration. Translucent. In the nose, cherry, cherry cola, red berry, on the palate, a close mirror to the nose. Medium-Long finish. — 2 months ago
I had this lovely wine last Sunday night at Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast. This is the best Cabernet blend from Vasse Felix and is different from the other premium Cabernet blends in Margaret River because it has 17% old vine Malbec (originally planted by Dr. Tom Cullity himself in 1967 and are the original vines planted in Margaret River). Of course it was infanticide drinking this superb wine at only 7 years of age………but sometimes you have to do these things!! I swear I could detect the presence of the Malbec on the nose as it was so different from the other big name neighbours like Moss Wood, Woodlands and Cullen. A beautiful floral nose of roses and violets. I have been collecting the Tom Cullity since the first vintage in 2013 through to 2019 but for some reason never bought the 2017. This is the first Cullity we’ve had. Just waiting for my cellared examples to get some age. HH gave this wine 98 points and a drinking window of 2021 to 2041. — 5 months ago

Blend of leather and smoke, cardamon and nutmeg spices, rich mouthfeel, hint of vanilla aftertaste, one of the most delicious Cabs we’ve had, paired perfectly with Rib Eye. — 16 days ago
