Star bright yellow. Mineral and Granny Smith apple on the luxurious nose. Firm, stony acidity leads the palate which echoes the nose adding orange rind and bumping up the acidity. Finish is medium long and continues the palate. A fine GG that's Rheingau all the way. The wine was openned yesterday and shows notes of cantaloupe, yuzu, lemon and white flowers. This is very nice. The palate is acid driven but there's almost a milky, creamy texture to it, with a bright pineapple and lemon note all along a very strong acid drive which makes the wine go for a long and fresh finish with the same lemon and yuzu notes.
