Julia's Vineyard Pinot Noir 2021

Delectable Wine
9.2

The 2021 Pinot Noir Julia's Vineyard is laced with crushed red berry fruit. Spice, tobacco and mint are some of the notes that grace this expressive, nuanced Pinot. The 2021 was done with fully destemmed fruit, but there is a sense of savoriness here that is quite attractive. $25.00 (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, November 2023) — 10 days ago

SLH Santa Lucia Highlands Estate Grown Pinot Noir 2021

Delectable Wine
9.0

The 2021 Pinot Noir SLH is a very pretty appellation-level offering. Dried herbs, tobacco, cedar and crushed autumn leaves add lovely complexity and nuance to this soft, understated Pinot from Hahn. There's plenty of subtlety and overall appeal here. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, November 2023)

A Tribute to Grace Wines

Santa Barbara Highlands Grenache 2020

375. Feminine. Nice length. Good purity. Has a candied/confectionary note that’s surprisingly pleasant. Fruit forward and pretty. Best at cellar temp. // Edit: paired this with roasted beets and fancy balsamic and GOTTDAMN — a month ago

Pisoni Vineyards

Estate Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir 2021

Delectable Wine
9.6

The 2021 Pinot Noir is outrageously beautiful. A vivid, sweeping wine, the 2021 captures all the best qualities of this rugged site. Blue/black fruit, cloves, licorice, menthol, lavender and chocolate all build effortlessly, amplified by the wine's natural intensity and volume. The 2021 is a big, rich wine, but it is also not overdone in any way. Jeff and Mark Pisoni blend their estate Pinot using blocks from the five main soil types found across the property. This is quintessential Pisoni. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, November 2023)

Southing Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir 2015

It’s been a long time since I’ve had a Sea Smoke and for good reason. Well made for sure just too over the top for me now — 19 days ago

Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Two years since I last drank this. Gorgeous once again. Notable acidity. Went down so easy. Did not grow significantly over 4 hours open. — 21 hours ago

Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir 2021

Delectable Wine
9.2

The 2021 Pinot Noir (Santa Lucia Highlands) is packed with dark red/purplish fruit, lavender, sage, mint, tobacco and mocha. This potent appellation-level Pinot Noir will surely be a crowd-pleaser, as it offers tons of fruit density and plenty of allure. I would give it a few months in bottle to soften. Alpine Vineyard Chardonnay 2021

Young but the wine is so on point. By far the best American Chardonnay on the market. Crazy acidity, so much citrus, tropicals including passion fruit, just amazing 🤩 — 10 days ago

Clark & Telephone Vineyard Pinot Noir 2020

This was excellent. Delicious, fruity, juicy, very smooth and drinkable, light tannins and not very earthy for a Pinot. — 12 days ago
