@Delectable Wine this is the Monthelie Blanc. Smoking great bottle. Super finessed and elegant in 2016 with cracking acidity and freshness. Good mouthfeel and crunch. Really easy to drink. — 3 years ago
Awesome nose. Big cherry fruit. Like a cherry lipstick. So so aromatic. That 2015 sunshine is on display. Loads of spice and wet earth. Gorgeous. Palate is juicy and full of tiny berry fruit enveloped by wet leaves, minerals and earth. Very juicy and terrific balance. Fresh and fruity like the best 15’s are. Has guts to age 10-12 years. Superb. — 4 years ago
2017 is so so good for Monthelie. Terrific and spicy nose of sour cherries and mid season cherries. Huge licorice. Poised and focused. Gobs of earth and minerals. Juicy, clean and energetic. There is significant structure and purity. Lovely dusty but substantial tannins. Such laser focus and accessible giving 17 mid season cherry fruit. Really saps out on the finish. Long. — 2 years ago
Gorgeous nose. Wafting minerality. Framing oak, lime zest, iodine, hazelnuts, superb classical nose. Palate is so juicy and explosive, superb density and cleanliness. So pure and sappy. Deep and super clean. Lean for a Charmes with awesome texture. Long. — 3 years ago
Great wine and killer value. Mineral, spice and huge red cherries. Sense of deepness. Very aromatic and super mineral. Palate is generous and ripe with lovely focus and clarity. Terrific freshness and lovely fruit. Structure to burn and velvety tannins suggest this has 10-12 years. Wonderful wine. — 4 years ago
A great vintage for this wine. Nose is very grapey. Cherry skins. Mineral. Needs air to expand. Sweet fruit and lovey sap and structure. Powerful and deep like good Auxey can be. Nice earthy mineral finish with a sappy sour cherry hit. Really terrific fruit and freshness. Has that snap. — 2 years ago

Checking in on the ‘19. Opulence, minerality, tempered wood. Candied fruits, a saline note streaking through… Huge finish. No way but up… — 4 days ago
