Domaine Du Clos De Tart

Mommessin

Clos de Tart Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2018

The Mommessin monster. I tend to only like this wine in “lighter” vintages where the heavy handed style gets balanced out. But 2018 shows impressive freshness, vibrancy and minerality to combat the warmth of 2018 wonderfully. But of course so so young. — a month ago

Sabine Aix en Provence Rosé Blend 2022

A lot of fruit in both the nose and the taste (strawberry, raspberry, and some tart cherry). Prefect Provençal zing on the finish. — 4 months ago

Clarksburg Chenin Blanc + Viognier Blend 2022

If you are looking for something not so sweet but not tart and not minerally, this is it. Per my husband, it doesn’t taste like sugar, blood, or dirt. Nice to drink by the pool. — 6 months ago

Liaison Pinot Noir 2017

In 2019 Lyle said closed us fuck. And the wine is really tough to taste upon opening. Cranberry, tart, very acidic needs more time to open up. Doesn’t really convince me. 17 must have been a tough vintage for them. Will try the big boys Muschelkalk and Buntsandstein next if i can find them in my messy cellar. And then try this again in 2 hours. — 2 months ago

Spätburgunder Rosé 2019

Quite earthy. A Rose to cellar. Lime, tart, hint strawberry, cranberry. Keep it or drink in the next 2-3 years. Only Lyle Fass has this. Quite different from year to year. This tastes blind like a red. Let it warm up! Works well with Spanish Tapas. — 4 months ago

I am. I like delectable because the folks who use it are more professional. And the reviews are more meaningful and better than Vivino. And i tend to drink wines mich are not mainstream.
