Truly nice and not too sweet. Just right with pizza. — a year ago
Domaine de Panisse CdP Noble Revelation
First off you have to know that I love! Love CdP. This is the 2012 vintage and it is hitting all the right notes...
The hue is red with a dollop of brown if you will. After a two hour aeration the smell is quite pleasant: ripe dark plum is predominant with a slight hint of dried Mediterranean spices. Balanced from beginning to mid-pallet, velvety! On the fore-pallet it feels bold and tannic with a long and savory finish.
There is a very casual non pretentious quality about this CdP which screams “drink me” after each and very sip... Enjoyed with a roasted Frenched rack of lamb and red wine reduction sauce, asparagus, and cherry tomatoes. Selection by the lovely Maria Chantal. — a year ago
Old style label, old style wine. Full bodied, full power, wine is sweet misses some acid and hence balance. — 2 months ago
Sweet taste with a dry finish. Good for both of us. — 8 months ago
Well after Oregon back to aged Burg. Terrific wine, all the autumnal forest leaves and ripe dark red fruits and firm texture (yes denser than the ethereal Hope Well) so familiar from the stash. Yum. Paired with the duck perfectly. — 9 months ago
On this Thursday night I have opened the 2018 Flowers Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. Winemaker Chantal Forthun
On the nose there is cherry, raspberry, red currant, clove, herbaceous notes, funk and forest floor.
On the palate I am able to detect tart cherry, tart strawberry, raspberry, vanilla, herbal notes, spice and a bit of earthy tones.
This wine is medium bodied, well blended and beautifully balanced with medium + acidity and medium fine tannins with a long fresh, clean red fruit finish. As we head into the weekend I hope all are well and please stay safe and stay healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 3 months ago
One of the better wines we have tried in northern Michigan - bright flavors of cherry and strawberry. November 2020. — 9 months ago
Nice! Not as dry as expected. Just as delicious as Nice red. — a year ago
