Very solid. Very accurate. Definitely ripe vintage — 6 years ago
Classic northern Rhone Syrah. Meaty, feral but still light on its feet. No as deep as the best, but a satisfying step below, especially for the price. — 7 years ago
A tight nose, perhaps more air would help bring it out. But it’s savory palate is a perfect match for Spanish eggplant w honey & lemon. Tropical but muted, a wonderful viscous mouthfeel that Carries some wood I’m betting. I see some ratings in previous yrs really knock it down, but these things are all so subjective. Not an opulent w Rhone, but even with my post Covid mouth, enjoyable, especially with food. — 6 months ago
Medium bodied, floral, jasmine, peach, medium acidity. Nice wine. — 3 years ago
Alban is name of first child. what a nose, gamey, stoney, granite, loess, amazing nose. so so sick. red fruits. raspberry coulis. olives, leather, some funk, some barnyard, some horse. wow this nose. wow, so silky, so elegant, big and refined, but juicy and so so elegant. Amazing purity. So open and wide. Coulis. red fruit, so fine, so much velvety tannins, sleek and refined. polished classicism. precise dense deep and lots of material. Drinking so well now. — 9 months ago

As good as last time. I confirm. And there's pepper. Very herbal. Somewhere at the top of my list. — 5 years ago

So brilliant but man is this young, albeit less young than normal. Insane nose with the most vivid olives and complexity. So elegant and long on the palate but starts out tannins then gets less tannic and melty. Needs 5 years. — 5 months ago
