Real tropical fruit nose almost edging into confected but then more towards the bakery and an apricot Danish. On the palate it's lighter in structure than the '10 &'11 but with a fresher acidity, be interesting to see how this ages.

This 2012 is 80% Marsanne, 20% Roussanne has an excellent presentation with a nice finish. The Domaine Blachon is slightly more complex, but this would be the novice wine drinkers favorite of the two.

This will make you want to drink Marsanne/Roussanne every day. Pure, crystalline melon flavors & aromatics permeate the senses with a brilliant acid/mineral tension providing structure & balance. One of the finest white Rhones I've been lucky enough to drink. Hard to find, happy when I do.
