Beautiful burgundy in a great place with some air. Quite primary. Some subdued fruit with forest floor leaves on the nose. Wonderful mouthfeel and a very long finish with great acid. Fruit is there along with sweet tannins. One you can really chew on. Had at noble rot in London. — 4 months ago
Acacia, pear, Meyer lemon, hint of honeycomb and sea shells. Wonderful balance and acidic backbone that leads to a persistent finish. Great stuff as usual from JCB. — 5 months ago

Feeling fortunate to be able to find this spectacular bottling without having to travel to France. To no surprise, 2020 Blanchot Dessus, one of the best 1er cru sites in the biz, is a jaw dropper tonight, a simply stunning young wine that wafts from the glass with captivating aromatics of yellow orchard fruit, citrus oils, white flowers and baking spice. Its full bodied and textural palate offers tremendous depth, density, racy lemony acids and a finish that just stays with you. This is as close to Grand Cru Montrachet as it gets. — 3 months ago
Started off incredible. Cherry and fresh cranberry jumping out of the glass. Medium weight. Perf for lamb chops. Then the Spice and green pepper hit and the wine shut down for 30 minutes. JD took it home and said it starting expressing itself better after 3 hours. — 6 months ago
