CA Red Blend

This California red blend from Dave Phinney is always tasty especially when you pair it with rib eye.

Big bold and very fruity. Full bodied with medium minus acidity.

Showing black fruits with lots of chocolate notes.

Nice length on the finish with soft tannins and tangy cherries.

Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime. Might be too sweet for some.

I cellard this Non Vintage for a couple of years, and it is drinking nicer now than before.

15.5% alcohol by volume.

90 points.

Cellar Selection Virginia Malbec 2010

Beyond expectations! Varietal correctness, full & expressive mouthfeel, and a long finish, ripe tannin finish…easily go 5-8 more years! Well done. At 10.5yrs old, Dave Collins crushed this extraction :) — 15 days ago

One of the more wallet friendly Swift wines while dining out. Starts very dry, quite typical of Swift. Over the bottle it developed into nice jammy stone fruit notes. — 3 months ago

Estate Cuvée Red Blend 1999

Lovely mature redfruits, solid still on the palate, hate that synthetic cork they used this vintage and another, but wine is still in pretty nice shape, bravo to Pat and Dave Coffaro for such a lovely blended Dry Creek Valley wine!! — 2 months ago
