Enjoying this way too much to write thorough notes. Creamed corn, golden delicious apple (fresh and dried), beeswax, chamomile, hay. flinty , saline finish. Fresh AF for an ‘06. Don’t want it to end. Had one of those food and wine pairing serendipity moments having this wine alongside maitake tempura in a ponzu dipping sauce where everything just clicked 🤯! — a month ago
Best east coast Chardonnay I’ve had. Apples honey and candy corn. Low acid. — 3 hours ago
A fine 1.5L Zin with all the attributes of a high end Zin. Lush red fruit, a flinty aftertaste and a lingering flavor mid pallet. Had for Father's Day with ribs, corn on the cob, baked beans and Brussel sprouts. Held upto these diverse foods and complimented their flavors. A real hit.🍷🍷 — 2 days ago

There’s a spectrum of colored fruit to this well-balanced Cotes de Rousillon that I decanted for 15 minutes before drinking. The decanting did the wine some good, allowing the fruits to shine through the gaminess/leather on initial sniff. Ripe blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, currant, and graphite notes along with slight eucalyptus, licorice and black pepper notes.
The wine isn’t very elegant but has a strong “delicious” factor. Strong acidity, firm tannins, and medium-plus body went well with Riley’s NY strip steak topped with gorgonzola—served with corn and rice. A crowd pleaser. 95 points RP? Meh. — a month ago
