So delicious.. more serious than some of the cinsauts that I have had. Nuanced and delicious. Still serious, but fun. — a year ago

All same notes apply from the 2014 vintage, but I think this vintage is even better! :) — 2 years ago

Craven Wines

Stellenbosch Cinsault 2020

Craven Cinsaut 2020: Light-bodied. Light gentle tannins. Bright red fruits, herbs, mild oak & a hint of spice. Nice dry finish. This was a great wine find at my local wholefoods market and I will definitely be returning back for a few more bottles; the pairing potential is endless! Love the brightness & freshness! Truly inspires me to seek and try more South African wines! Have a great weekend! Cheers 🇿🇦🍷 — 4 months ago

Ledge Vineyards

Ledge MCA Cuvée Paso Robles Grenache Blend 2017

Crazy blend of 30% Grenache, 30% Cinsaut, 20% Tannat; 10% Petite Syrah, 5% Syrah and 5% Zinfandel from the James Berry, Adams Ranch and G2 Vineyards.

Consumed over 2 days; Day 1 was dominated by the Grenache with a lifted sweetness of ripe strawberry and raspberry jams, red currants and really cool streak of citrus mid-palate; Day 2 showed more of a darker and savory palate with a heavy dose of Syrah and Tannat; spice and iron with black pepper on the back end; all these grapes played so well together presenting a lush and silky mouthfeel; 15% ABV wasn't even noticeable.

C³ Red Rhone Blend 2018

This unique blend is fresh berry cobbler in a glass. Warm strawberry, raspberry, and blueberry flavors burst forth but with nothing that tastes artificial. There is definitely some depth to this wine, but without the heaviness that sometimes results. I love that these three grapes usually reserved for blending with more prominent Rhône varietals have been blended together for once. I will definitely buy another bottle in the future if Bill Frick makes it again! 50% Carignane, 27% Cinsaut, 23% Counoise. 11/8/21. — 8 months ago
