The 2010 vintage shows Deep ruby red with an intense purple hue, coating the glass with slow moving legs, bright and clear in the bowl. 14.5%ABV. Predominantly merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. On the nose, this wine has clean, pronounced aromatics of ripe plum, ripe blackberry, red delicious apple, with secondary allspice, dark chocolate, sweet tobacco leaf, savoury, anise and minerality. On the palate, this wine mimics its nose with cooked dark berries, offering an off-dry, medium + acidity, high tannins, high alcohol, full bodied with pronounced fruit concentration, well balanced, well integrated. Long finish with persistence of ripe plum and blackberry. This wine is a richly concentrated deep and luscious experience and is outstanding quality, super premium, typical Bordeaux Grand Cru Classe from Graves. This wine is ageable for another 10 years , drinks well at present and can cellar easily 2015-2025. Pairs well with braised meats (beef, lamb, bison), roasted AAA prime rib, charcuterie platter or seared AAA steak. — 7 years ago

Not a wine of great expectation when purchased in '84 but cellared properly and now is a perfectly mature, elegant Graves with austerity, depth and soft fruit and tannins. Unexpected rewards from a wine that cost $8.89 at its purchase! Drink now. — 5 years ago

OMG D-licious! Smokey with a beautiful oak and black cherry nose. Rich flavour despite the age, very dry. 2001 vintage we were lucky to have this. — 7 years ago

2019 vintage. A blend of 65% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot according to the official website (whereas most journalists state 60% Cabernet Sauvignon). A mix of red and black fruit, typical Pessac-Léognan spiciness, with the Petit Verdot delivering violet notes. It has a very fresh mouthfeel with juicy fruit and refined tannins, combined with an attractive salinity and a long spicy finish. Very good indeed. — a month ago
