No real notes. Crazy dinner party with old friends. So complex. Apricot, earth, honey, balsa wood. Delicious. — 3 months ago

So much different than the last bottle. Licorice and menthol dominate the nose. No fruit but quite full bodied — 18 days ago

In a perfect spot. Dirt and clay and classy black fruit and coffee. And so on. Darn tasty. — 2 months ago

Domaine La Tour Vieille

Puig Ambeille Collioure 2020

Delicious. It’s mostly Mourvèdre but it’s different than a Bandol in the it’s seems more open and a bit less structured. Lots of garrigue/roasted herbs/iodine on the nose. Dark berries underneath. Concentrated and very savory in the mouth. Very clingy and long. A fair amount of relatively soft tannin, with acids on the lowish side. Really good value, if you can find it.

UPDATE: Night 2 the palate is showing less savory and way more deep fruit. That suggests to me that this needs air of drink in the short term and also will age for a few years.
