Château La Mission Haut-Brion

La Chapelle de la Mission Haut-Brion Pessac-Léognan Red Bordeaux Blend 2012

2012 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 2 hours. Threw almost zero sediment. Reticent nose but chocolate, earth and coffee flavors. In a great place currently. 12.8.23. — 2 days ago

Château Laville Haut-Brion

Pessac-Léognan Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc Blend

Tasty Laville Haut-Brion with 18 years of age. No longer released on its own, these vines are now part of the La Mission Haut-Brion Blanc release. Nice age, began to develop some nutty qualities, and a bit of butterscotch on the nose and palate. Held a bit to the end of the dinner to see if the butterscotch enhanced, but sadly it did not. — 2 months ago
