An excellent example of Chianti Classico full of juicy cherry, plum, cedar & roasted tomato after a brief 30 min decant. All supported by a robust acidity & a touch of rustic tannins. A delicious wine & stellar pairing with homemade Chicken Parmesan! [3/16/24] ($18) — a month ago
Easy drinking, nice finish. Good value — 9 months ago
This Chianti includes just a touch (5% each) of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Dusty earth, purple flowers and dark cherry aromas fill the nose. Lighter cherry, cigar tobacco, dark chocolate and tar on the pallet. Hint of baking spices on the finish. Incredibly smooth texture. Solid acidity. Full bodied. Totally rustic in style. All about the Tertiary aromas and flavors with this wine. Settling in with age. — 2 years ago
