A wonderful new world Chardonnay - this is better than some Premier Crus I have had. A funky note to begin with, stone fruit and nuts (almond and cashew). Palate is perfectly balanced with nectarine and a creamy texture. Great intensity of flavour and excellent length. The first of 4. Next in a year. The next night just as impressive. — 9 days ago
Saw these comments before I opened this full-bodied red. I was not disappointed! Juicy and went well with our beef dish. Very moreish! — a month ago

Thank you Soumah for this media sample.
This is not any old Yarra Valley (VIC) Chardonnay. There were only 300 dozen bottles of this Equilibrio 2019 Chardonnay made and oh my, it’s a true pleasure to drink.
Drinking this Chardonnay feels like falling in love. It’s dreamy, romantic and you can’t get enough of it.
It’s a pastel yellow shade in the glass with a wonderfully enticing nose of juicy stone fruits, pineapple, grapefruit and creamy vanilla bean butter. On the palate it’s perfectly balanced with the most deliciously silky texture. Great length of flavour and an absolute joy to drink.

Nose not giving much initially - just an earthy note - fairly contained. Probably opened a little young? The next night it showed red fruited aromatics of raspberry and strawberry. Very fine on the palate and quite delicious. The winemaker and owner Tom Carson with his French wife, Nadege, just won Viticulturalist of the year 2 days ago in the Halliday Wine Awards. They also import a range of Burgundies. In his “spare time “ Tom is also the winemaker at the highly regarded Yabby Lake. — 14 days ago
Amazing. Nose rakes me to baking paleo banana bread - baked apricot, almond meal. Bloody delicious — 4 days ago
Aromas of Black currant, cassis, red florals, dark chocolate - a lovely perfume. Emphasising yet again that even though the Yarra does excellent Pinot Noir and Chardonnay it does Cabernet and blends the best. In a blind tasting I might have picked this as coming from SA (McLaren Vale or Clare Valley). With time a touch of capsicum and light pepper - medium weight but with M+ intensity. A brilliant effort and the last vintage of Dry Red No. 1 made by the originator and legend, Dr. Bailey Carrodus before his passing. — 3 days ago

See several previous Delectable notes. This is Syrahmi’s second best red Cuvée and very good for only $25. Quite a dense dark crimson like a good Heathcote Shiraz should be. Earthy and herbal as well as rich blackberry notes. Rich and savoury. Fabulous intensity for a wine at this price point. Sadly my last bottle of this vintage but I do have a few left of his top Cuvée which is called X. — a month ago
