This wine was lost in my cellar for a couple of years until I found it a few days ago. As a 2016 I probably would have drunk this a year or two ago. Now at 9 years of age it is a wonderful Chardonnay with more complexity and intensity. More on the citric than stone fruit side. A good example of mature Yarra Valley Chardonnay.

Mar 10th, 2025Pale lemon in colour. Leesy nutty aromas. The palate is fuller than you normally get in the Yarra Valley with more stone fruit flavours and a smooth silky finish. A very moreish Chardonnay where the bottle disappeared quickly. Had another bottle 75 weeks later on 19th February 2023. A typically good Yarra Valley Chardonnay drinking at its peak. I will have the last bottle later this year.
