Trapl Stixneusiedl Zweigelt 2017
Violet dark in the Glas, and with expressive fruit: ripe blackberries, dark cherries, a bit of plum and all this fruity compote with a fresh whiff of orange zest and rose hip. Very inviting.
Light and so juicy on the palate (only 12% alc!) with blackberry gelée and cherry acidity framed nicely by light yet persistent tannins. Very fresh and dangerously drinkable.

One of the signature grapes of Austria, deep lemon with aromas of stone and tropical fruits, spice and fresh citrus notes. On the palate pear, melon and tangy lemon citrus flavors with herb and pepper spice. Well balanced, medium finish ending with mineral tones. Nice value, will benefit with some short term aging. — a month ago
