Smooth with very mild tannins. Great table wine. Had it with a braised lamb shank. — 10 years ago

This wins the category for most dependable Italian white for 15 a bottle. (Wine-searcher has it for under 15 in NY, FL, and CA) Any other nominees? Colle Stefano Verdicchio; Antonelli Grechetto; Gini Soave Classico; Montenidoli Vernaccia; what am I missing? — 10 years ago

This is a major league workhorse fastball befitting the modern age; this is a Gini Wijnaldum wine, elegant, robust, & uncompromising in its considerable effort to shape thought, space, and facilitate room to the work. Unsung hero, surprising in its inclination to balance, & delightful. Got all them savories, got them grit, got a streak of badger & delightful acid. Chuffed with this. — 8 years ago
Love, love, love this white. Very dry. Lovely by anyone's standards! If you can find it, you should buy it and enjoy! — 11 years ago
Pinot noir grapes grown in a Cru on high hills east of Verona, Italy, make this elegant 2007 vintage. Complex, rich, salty and tasty, still fresh acidity and drinkability. I love it. — 12 years ago
Bella approves! Light red fruit flavors, no dryness or spice a good red that would please a lot of palettes — 12 years ago
