Toscana Pugnitello 2017

Smooth, silky, light smoky aroma and strong tannins. Well balanced and stands on its own but also pairs nicely with meats and tomatoes. — a month ago

Contrada Toscana Red Blend 2019

2019 vintage.
50% Merlot, 40 % Sangiovese, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Fruity and lively with bright acidity.
Cherries and raspberries with a touch of earthiness, leather and black tea.
Cheap and cheerful in all the right ways.

Il Grigio da San Felice Gran Selezione Chianti Classico Sangiovese 2011

Dark ruby. Obviously still very tight and primary but opens in decanter with very pure cherry fruit, bit of oak and nice funky earthy component adding complexity. On the palate bold and dark toned, young and bit disjointed. Dusty tannins sneak up in the back end in medium+ length. Needs food. I'll bury my remaining bottles for atleast 5 years. — 4 years ago
