50th Anniversary. ZD cabernet sauvignon 2018. “Young and Bold!” This redeems the last bottle of ZD I had. This has a zing to it like a zinfandel . WOW. If I did not know better I would think it was zinfandel. This has lots of dark fruit on the beginning as you would expect from a cab. I can taste the grapes - if that makes any since; and it is definitely a cab grape. I taste black raspberry and ripe blackberry. There is oak and charcoal jamming in the middle. Smoke and graphite. And that spicy zing! Finish is moderately dry. I love this wine. Well worth the price of 75 dollars. — 2 days ago
A great SB! Blend of 96% Sauv Blanc with 4% Sauv Gris adding an interesting dynamic to the wine & distinctive aromas (prior to ‘18 vintage some Semillon added). Pale lemon color, citrus, tropical & floral aromas. On the palate peach, melon, herb & earthy tones, well balanced with acidity, smooth yet robust on a long finish ending rich with wet stone character. Good value! A Fav!! Very consistent with ‘18!! — 16 days ago
Has almost 8 years in bottle where it developed a complex lively apple cider theme. This oxidized and evolved into a caramel appley vinegar tropical mix.
Beautiful apricot golden color. Smoked peaches, apple cider, and tarragon on the nose.
Acid hanging around after all these years.
Flavors of dried pineapple and dried mango and plenty more apple cider to sip through. — 12 days ago
Had it slightly chilled and it was lovely. Slightly spicier than other Pinots I’ve had and not quite as dark. So quite a refreshing and lively Pinot — a day ago
