If I could give this 20 points would. My WOTN and the best wine I've had all year. This is in its sweet spot now. That perfect moment when the wine is showing its best. Thank you @Bob Bressler β 5 years ago
Pipped at the post by Bressler, but still excellent. β 6 years ago
Itβs time for my #FridayCabernetfix. Here is a gorgeous one.
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Fruity nose of blackberries, sweet cherries, black currants, cedar, earth, vanilla, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco, coke, graphite, light alcohol and black pepper.
Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate and fruity with blueberries, black currants, black cherries, tobacco leaf, spices, vanilla, licorice, cedar, earth, black pepper, chocolates and dark coffee.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a wonderful Cabernet Sauvignon based Bordeaux blend from Napa Valley. Showing great complexity with a smooth mouthfeel.
This 7 year old from the great 2014 vintage is drinking very nicely now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
A very enjoyable Cabernet. Delicious, rich and extracted, with a great mouthfeel.
Good right out of the bottle, and better as it opens up (1 hour).
Thank you Kim and Barry for sharing this with me.
Very tasty and good by itself or with foods, like BBQ Meats. I paired it with a Charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.
A blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon , 8% Cabernet Franc, 6% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot. Aged in (80% new) French Oak barrels for 29 months. A small production of only 445 cases. Unfortunately, their last vintage was the 2015.
14.7% alcohol by volume.

Great nose, longer legs for whatever that's worth.
Equal in taste just a little more full bodied than the Bressler.
I opened & poured both into decanters then had my wife pour 90 minutes later for a true blind tasting, but I recognized the nose of the Stewart right away since I was the original cork popper. β 6 years ago
This is a clone of Bressler.
A rich and complex nose of cassis and toasty oak.
Palette is multi-layered and consistent with the nose. Mid-palette is plush and dense, with rich dark fruits. Tannins are excellent, helping the wine to finish with a lift. 14.9% abv melts away. All in all, an outstanding showing. All the more special, since this cuvΓ©e is only produced when the all the components of the blend are aligned. β 6 years ago

This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Spicy and interesting.
Full bodied with medium acidity.
Showing black fruits with cedar, vanilla, leather, spices, earth, dark chocolates, coffee, peppercorn, earth and sweet spices.
Nice length on the finish with fine grained tannins.
This 16 year old tastes very fresh, and smells young too. Showing great complexity with a nice mouthfeel.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 2 hours of airtime.
I had it blind, and guessed Napa Cabernet 2015. Missed it by a decade. So interesting.
A little past its peak, but still delicious. I had the 2014 not too long ago, and it was drinking much better.
Good by itself or with food. I paired it with a Charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.
14.4% alcohol by volume.
