Yeah I’m a slut for Alsatian wine but I’ve never even heard of this grape. Super funky cheesy when it opened, I wish the body stood up a little more in the finish but after some research it makes sense. Had this with a pizza Bianca porchetta and some Calabrian chilis and yum yum yum — 21 days ago
Still drinking beautifully. Pure, deep, ripe fruit leads on the nose, with straw, turned soil and river stone notes. Round and quite ripe in the mouth, this is all about the fruit. It’s basically dry, but the ripeness of the fruit is such that it gives a sweet impression. Just a teensy bit of stony minerals in the finish. — 3 months ago
Like a slightly more rounded, subtle champagne, with much more crisp apple and green citrus notes and just a hint of brioche, vegetal / grassy notes, and freshly torn bread crusts on the nose and palate. — 7 months ago
