Terrific wine. Nose has some depth and complexity, with earthy pear and apple fruit, a honey note, and warm moist gravel scents. Fairly weighty in the mouth for its type, but with nice balance. Good intensity and length. Palate shows lots of dark minerality at first but then the fruit takes over. Long finish for a “non-noble” varietal (actually, two, Auxerrois and Pinot Blanc). I like this a lot. — 3 months ago

Actually a blend of 80% Pinot Blanc and 20% Pinot Auxerrois. Nice Cremant d’Alsace from a producer with quite a history. Year and a half to two year process. Light yellow color with green highlights. Fine pearl-like bubbles. Aromas and flavors of green melon, mango, nuts and minerals. Soft mousse and beautiful texture. Powerful body and lemony acidity. Fresh, complex and clean. Great pallet cleanser! — 9 months ago

Willamette Blush, Willamette Valley, 68/20/12 blend of Auxerrois, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. Good acidity, light skin astringency on finish, light cherry-berry and lactic notes but mostly orchard fruit flavors. Unusual wine, tannin backbone gives it real character. — 5 days ago

Vintage 2021 | Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier. Great wine with freshness, spicyness and vibrant character. From Belgium. So glad I followed the advice of the sommelier. Paired with a salad with smoked salmon and grilled dorade afterwards. | Restaurant Fabuleux Den Bosch | — 24 days ago
