"The result is cherry red with hues of Violet in the glass. Ripe cherry black currant and licorice with a dash of French Oak in the nose, and a full velvety palate, fruity with toffee undertones. " — 4 months ago
Esporão never disappoints. Oak really comes through with Bold wild berries, a hint of anise and vanilla. Alcohol is maybe a little too prominent which makes me think in a couple of years of cellaring this its true character will truly shine. — 5 days ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of four days. Best on Day 1 and Day 2 though, still enjoyable on Day 4. Personally, I just think the freshness in day one and two was more redeeming. The 2020 pours a deep ruby color with a near opaque core; medium viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart and ripe bramble fruit, black cherry, new leather, carnations, dried thyme and subtle baking spices. On the palate, the white is dry, medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose with the addition of a coffee character, more like espresso. The finish his medium+. This is a notable, modern take on Chianti Classico without the DOCG. Drink now through 2030+. Solid with pizza. — 6 days ago
