Tierra de León Albarin 2021

Pale white, excellent clarity. White floral, guava aromas. Peach, green apple and citrus peel flavors. Lower alcohol, just crisp enough. First encounter with this local variety. Would love to revisit this wine soon — 5 months ago

Bodegas Vitalis

Lágrima de Vitalis Albarin

100% Albarin (not to be confused with Albariño), a little-known indigenous variety from Leon and Galicia, where it is also known as Branco Lexitimo. Aromatic, citrus (lemon, tangerine) and some floral and herbal notes (reminiscent of Verdejo). Crisp, fresh, saline. Amazing value — 2 years ago

Trasto Albarin 2016

Cut lemon, green olive brine, minor oxidative traits, dry crushed rocks; very cool bottle.

(A peace offering from an invited friend who arrived to taste a bottle of Ch. Simone rosé ('18) after being open for three days.)
