The Essence Oregon Pinot Noir 2016

Deep Ruby (darker than most OR Pinot’s) with aromas of blue and red fruits with an array of spices and wet stone notes. On the palate youthful flavors of cherry and fresh strawberry, licorice, smoke and tea notes with elegant spice. Fine tannins, long ending with fruit and tangy spice and mineral notes. Great now, has some short term aging potential but might lose the vibrant character. — a month ago

Vej Bianco Antico Malvasia di Candia 2019

Smells like bruised oxidized apples and cider. Nectarines, lemon peel, ginger, crushed slate. Nice amount of tannins from skin contact. Looking for more of this wine to have on a sunny picnic day. Thanks for the birthday wine @Margie @Colleen Z ! — 3 months ago

Riserva Chianti Classico Sangiovese

I really didn't like this wine when I first opened it. Glad I read a review that it took about an HR to open up. Thank you Ken Z because this wine was night and day different. Smooth well rounded became a delish wine. — 6 months ago

Pink Wine Garnacha Monastrell

73/13/7/5/2 blend of Garnacha, Syrah, Monastrell, Graciano and Piquepoul Blanc. Pink to red rose petal in color (it’s not just the artwork) light cherry aroma, Good tangerine-cherry-white pepper flavor consistent with two main red varietals here. Not quite bone dry but close. Nice acidity and mineral finish. Muted flavors overall but a fine wine for sipping on a hot day. Paired so well with a Bianco Verde pizza al fresco last week at Pizzeria Bianco that I went out and bought a bottle. — 2 months ago

Z Prosecco

Wow! Hands down one of the best Prosecco I’ve ever had. Rewarding to see it’s 100% Glera, all hand harvested from some of the oldest and best vines. The effervescence is super fine, that of champagne. The wine showcases peach, light green apple skin , stone crushed fruit which is accompanied by a beautiful minerality in the mid palate stretching through the finish. An outstanding style. Well done David Noto, the winemaker! — 6 months ago
