Such a terrific Weissburgunder. The Z man strikes again. Nose is a bit quiet off the bat. Maybe it’s a bit cold. But there is apple, mineral and some smoke. I’ll update once it gets a bit warmer. Palate is just immaculate. Ripe and rich but so precise and the limestone tingles throughout. Nose starting to get fresh cut almond slices. Such a great combo of ripe and round juxtaposed with intense jagged limestone and terrific acid structure. Such a serious wine. I sell for like $25. Just an absurd value here. Really concentrated, complex and structured. Tonight this reminds me of the 18 Brisset Cuvee Cassaneas. Out of this world. Nose has such an insane stank after 20 minutes and warning up. Sweet spices. Ocean air. Salt. This is a stunning wine.
