Glorious bottle. Nose has a tiny bit of funk but glorious cherry fruit, soil tones, mineral, minty, menthol, gloriously fresh, deep, silky, velvety, crushing acidity but gentle as well. Savory, umami on the finish. Finishes so mineral. Tasting granite. — 17 days ago
This Morgon needs some more time in bottle. After it opened up it showed its potential and is already a prime example of why the terroir of Côte du Py is so desirable. Complex and aromatic with cherry and earth dominant and a smooth finish that leaves you wanting another sip. Elegant and powerful. — 21 days ago
hot day in Arizona with a little chill on this Gamay it is a perfect Summer sipper with light foods. Soft mouthfeel, tart cherry and wonderful smooth finish. — 4 days ago

Beauty on the nose. Dream on the palette. — 4 days ago
Wow. Burgundian prettiness of fruit with an almost Californian dustiness. One of my favorite Beaujolais I’ve ever tasted — 14 days ago
Nose has abundant red fruits, minerally cherry, dried violet, light baking spice and white pepper. (I can't take my nose out of the glass, wow!)
Palate has sweet red cherry, blackberry, ripe cranberry, tannins are light.
I may be hard pressed to blind this and not think Pinot Noir...
Great, young bottle from a spectacular vintage. A troubling season for many with severe frost leaving a very low yielding vintage for those able to make wine. The top cuveé for Breton, the P'Tit Max was not made in 2016. The fruit from the ancient vines of that vineyard were blended into the Vieilles Vignes bottling for this vintage. So drink and rejoice at how gifted we are for the VV bottle, with something extra for 2016!
A thorough review by Delectable (Josh Raynolds) provides more description and adjectives of the wine characteristics then I can summon, seek it.
