Spectacular nose. Peach skin, spice, super mineral, confectionary, so clean. Perfumed. 9.3 on nose alone. Palate is juicy and complex with terrific clarity and precision. Long, delicate, playful, very long. Lovely underlying structure but so forward and charming now.

Sep 2nd, 2018The first GG. @Delectable Wine this is Grosses Gewachs in 2015. Mineral. Peach, apricots, full of fruit and minerals. Elegant, texture, powerful, intense and yet so pretty and lean. Salty, mineral finish. Dissipates. So clean. Mouthwatering.

White peach & ripe lemons, with a touch of cool minerality. So clean & enticing.
On the palate this shows amazing purity. Juicy (lemons!) worth electric tension between the fruit and the juicy acidity. Starts off a bit broad but then shows brilliant focus and great depth. And the finish that just doesn’t stop - precise, mineral, salty, juicy.
This is a brilliant wine - I’m curious to see how this develops once it sheds the youthful fruit.

Intensiv auf der Nase, tiefes Gelb, das auf einen körperreichen Wein hindeutet. Typische Rieslingsäure jedoch nicht dominant, eher angenehm und im Gleichklang mit ausgeprägtem Bouquet. Sehr Ausgewogen und gelungen

Pop and pour yesterday. Stunning yesterday and today. Density has picked up from last showing. Peach, melon, stone and lovely depth on the nose. On the palate: fantasric acidity and density, mirroring the nose. Long finish. Excellent now, definitely will improve with more age.

Oct 7th, 2022Nice nose with ripe peach, yeast, wet stone, lemon oil, still primary. On the palate, excellent acidity, loads of wet stone, intense lemon peel, and ok density. Good viscosity, and a tangy finish. Acidity is slightly disjointed, but a solid btl.
