Very pale lemon in colour. Limey notes. White peach on the off dry palate. Chalky minerality with diminished acidity. Keller Rieslings often seem to have more intensity than other German producers. Drink now for its freshness and deliciousness.

2015 Keller Riesling Kabinett “Limestone”, and an unfadeable classic. The accessibility and familiarity of both of these things sometimes hides the depth and power under the surface. Makes for a great Friday night.

Key lime nose followed by creamy, candied Sour Lemon palate. Splendid balance of residual with beautiful acidity. Still salivating.

First time I've seen the limestone indicator on the label but damn this was delicious. Like lemonade with just an ever so soft touch of sweetness to it. Baller.

You know those Cotton Candy grapes you can only buy at Gelsons? That is what the Keller Limestone initially tastes like. But beyond that is a generous draping of sweet lemon and lime flavors. Excellent acidity leading everything through. This wine has lots of "stuffing," as they say. There's more to this wine, but I'm not there yet. More later.

Such a beautiful wine, balancing stone fruit richness and floral notes with stoney citrus and keen acidity. Sort of like a Riesling version of Chassagne.

Clear, stony, metallic anjou pears. A good wine friend died last night in Paris. He was a dependable member of our San Diego tasting group visiting his first grandchild and we are struggling with our collective loss. @Alec White loved Bordeaux, good cheese and #sauternes. Hug your kids and your parents this week. @Dan Blackwell @Vickie Beuerle @Max Kogod @Matthew Beckman @Bill Bender @Steve Anderson @Jason Berry @Michael Meyer
