stunning with 7 years on it. luscious, petrol mouth with ripe pineapple, stewed basil, and the savory side of apple. the mineral and acid finish tells me this one will keep getting better.

Fresh. Clean. Energetic. Green apples and underripe tropics (papaya). For acid and mineral heads but not too austere or enamel stripping. Craves age.

Nice, rich and with plenty of fruit, but the dominant impression here is of the slatey/mineral box that is wrapped around that dense core. Transitional, I think, and while plenty enjoyable now, this should be more interesting down the road.

Not a shy wine, this shows the textural character of Riesljng's half-sibling Chardonnay, but cut through with that wonderful appley Riesljng acidity

#ClemensBusch makes some of the Mosel's finest #dry #Riesling from several different soil types--this is his gray slate version from 2011 that is drinking superbly now--a total mineral-driven delight!
