Etna Rosso Nerello Blend
Tight but luscious after some time. Savory, punchy tomato leaf, sage.

Aug 18th, 2019Vendemmia 11.
Took a while to open up into succulent cherries, marasca, poutpurri, cracked pepper, liquorice, young leather.
Palate in balance, drinks like a Nebb, with a tad less tannins.
Mineral, elegant. Probably just reaching his peek.

Notes from #trade #tasting, "Wow. Unusual, feathery, notes on nose & palate. Good though."

Keeping the Etna train rolling; the most aged one I think I've had? Reduced, maybe a touch of Favre, with sour cherry and balsamic notes. Love the texture and weight- flavor and aromatics definitely improve with air.

Apr 7th, 2018Has much longer to run, far too up front and aggressive. Would love to re-visit after 2020, right now it has none of the nuance and suppleness I personally adore in an Etna Rosso.
