Oct 23rd, 2025Cloudy by design. Muted nose which gave up a wisp of lemon, grass and hazelnuts. On the palate, it shows restraint and balance. Soft mouthfeel, with delicate acidity made this an all round excellent experience. This will sail on in the cellar for at least another 5 years.

18’ Tor Kenward Hyde Chardonnay. The best Hyde ever!!!
Tropical fruit, great body, terrific purity, light acidity & a long, concentrated mouthfeel. Time in the glass brings out this Chardonnay’s depth. Drinking well now. Will only get better in a year or so. It’s going be hard for me to keep my hands off this bottle. Want to thank @Carl Fischer for putting this virtual tasting together. Tor is making some sensational stuff.
