Terre di Talamo, Tempo Riserva 2006, Morellino di Scansano DOC - aroma of earthy dark cherry, dried herbs. Palate of robust dark cherry, forest floor, dried rose petals, thyme, nice tannin. Aged 6 months in Barriques, bottle aged 12 months. Certainly old world, but approachable. Nice complexity for a $15 red.

Splendid earthy aroma, bit dried herbals, tarragon and sage on the nose. Juicy and delicious acidity on the mid-range palate.
Goes wonderfully with red sauce pasta and obviously pizza. A solid crowd pleaser!
