Second wine still quite young, decant for sure and purple fruit comes alive in the glass. Robust acidity, spice on finish along with fine tannins. #toscana

Wonderfully consistent vintage after vintage! Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) and Merlot (40%) Super Tuscan Blend. Highly aromatic noting red berry fruit, purple flowers, leather and cedar with a hint of truffle. Broad and well incorporated flavors of dried cherry, red currant, black licorice with a touch of coffee on the finish. Velvety tannins and totally elegant. Let this one breathe a bit. Revisited in November 2022. Getting better with age. Revisited again in February 2024. Even softer. Near its peak.
