Nov 10th, 2017The nose showed crushed raspberry, dried roses, dusty spice, hints of dry earth and undergrowth. On the palate, I found unexpectedly soft textures with dried cherry fruit, cedar, savory green herbs, minerals and inner floral tones. Hints of tannin lingered throughout the long finish, along with saturating dark red fruits. This is very enjoyable now and will probably improve over the next 5 - 10 years, but I must admit that it's hard to resist already.
