Kupfergrube Großes Gewächs Riesling

Vintage 2009

Cork was pushing up and this needed to be opened. Gorgeous nose. So many rocks. Petrol, lemon, lime zest, mineral and even a hint of rainer cherries. Really aromatic and stunning. Palate is super mineral and dense and opulent (this is 06) with nice texture and freshness. Good acids and nice citrus fruits on the long finish. Really Long. Excellent and at its apogee.

Knew these two would play nice!

Very pale colour which hides big tastes of fruity unripe and ripe pineapple and then a long finish of stony minrality.

Sponti on the nose. Super mineral. Good acidity. Mineral. Green apple. So clean and precise. Long juicy finish. Lacks the density of great years of felseneck but you get that tim frohlich precision.

Stunning wine. Nice age. Great texture. Rich. Perfect balance. Just a great wine.

First 1o min. No fruit at all. Liquid Rocks, salty, laser !
