'08 drinking at its peak imo. My favorite signature on a bottle ever... "Can't sell it... Might as well drink it!" -Michael Keenan

Beautiful #syrah from Keenan, albeit opened way too early. Posh bramble berry on the nose, starting to get some of that Syrah meaty black olive character as it warms. Delicious acidity on palate, not inconsequential tannins on the finish that build. Lovely wine but can’t help thinking it would be glorious in a decade.

2012 vintage poured in March, 2022. Deep purple color with cherry and leather aromas. Short mouth feel with a spicy finish. Not the best pairing with pizza, but not bad.

Lush and dark at the outset with blackberries and currants. Then a thick undercurrent of chocolate and coffee. The finish has moderately acidic tannins. Big and over the top but works.

Super subtle, but to be expected with spring mountain wines I guess. Floral bouquet on the nose, sweet tobacco, anise. Black pepper, green olive, light red fruit on the tongue. Tannins are present but not over bearing. High quality, not my favorite Syrah though.

Smells like a newly installed gym rubber floor. Taste is very old. Difflwntly can taste the age

Really hit the spot! Tasted a nice age to it! 2014 was the last great year right?
