Can Diacetyl be a bottle variation? Or does it effect the whole vintage? ... more buttered popcorn than under the seat of an AMC theater. Could not drink. Bummer.

Pale straw colour.
Lovely nose of bruised red apples, vanilla, jasmin, buttery oak
Alas, on the palate this feels slightly disjointed. There is lovely baked apple fruit, soft spices and vanillin on one side, and somewhat bitter oaky notes on the other,… in the middle there is a hole.. which left me puzzled.

Classic California Chardonnay. Lots and lots of oak. Nice vanilla flavor mixed with oak. A paradigm of this style for those who like oak.

Super deep wine! Honey, butter, and melons dominate. Probably close to prime drinking age. Paired nicely with sharp, acidic appetizers. My style but over done.
