Light in color and in taste, but it's a Nerello Mascalese you can easily recognize. #DWCC #Etnawinelover

Named after the 10-year-long Etna eruption that began in 1614. The wine is clear ruby red; nose full of small tart black and red currants, powerful mineral salinity, light oak, and baking spices; the taste is a mouthfilling eruption (couldn't resist) of dark fruit and brush spices over a dense tannic structure. Very good, but needs a few years in the cellar.

Named after historic Etna eruption which lasted ten years. Vineyard is in the path of centuries old lava flow.

Aromatic, jammy, dark cherry, plum. Fruit forward. Spice, m acid, m- tannin. Great structure. Balanced

Transparent dark ruby. Nice smooth restrained mineral palate. Earthy dusty dark red fruits. Very nice with a dry rubbed pork tenderloin.

Ok but simple. Seems light to me. Hint raspberry quite tannic.
