While limey and pleasantly flinty/reductive this also shows a sort of creamy, mid palate fatness that was unexpected. This should age well but the viscosity sent me for a loop.

Noticeably different to the watervale, this screams ripe limes, along with florals, talc and sense of minerality. Delivers with line and length as per usual, quality.

Fragrant, floral, juicy and zesty Australian Riesling, terrific with food but also great on its own. Fine value at twice the price. Enjoyed the 2022 vintage at the Water Grill in downtown LA, at our Public Finance Department’s holiday dinner.
