Standout in a night of exciting wines. On the nose: smoke, soft petrol, lemon oil, saffron, sweet guava...wow. On the palate: excellent acidity, and density, lemon, blood orange. white pepper, fennel...fantastic density on the long finish. Stunning.

2018 is nice four years later. Some good white apricot on the palate. As it opened up more stone fruits became apparent. Not too heavy on the petrol. Good acidity. Good match for the white people’s Asian food at Ramsey’s Lucky Cat on Grosvenor Square

Very interesting smokey, honey flavor, but ultimately, not my favorite flavor profile. Mellowed a bit after some time open.
