2018 vintage. Anything produced by Caroline Frey seems to be worth buying these days and this Cornas is no exception. Ripe black fruit, blueberry jam and spices. It maintains acidity in this hot year and is every bit as good as the delicious 2017. Abv. 14,5 %.

Showing so well. Showing finesse, harmony, and balance. I was expecting more concentration and extract bit this was quite deft in oak and concentration. Vintage perhaps? Gorgeous nose of classic Cornas black fruit, sweet wood, savory/sweet umami notes of smoked meat, worn leather, smoke and bacon. Wouldn’t age any longer.
