Lots of life left in this one. Beautiful deep cherry and some cedar.

Had at capital grill with Ken and Cheryl. Well balanced, smooth and leathery. Complex finish. Paired with bone-in filet mignon

Paraduxx 2012 Napa Valley red wine.

Sure does smell and taste like one too.

Just a slight hint of sweet bell pepper dominated by red cherries, red raspberries, red currants and red plums, all backed by oak notes and red flowers.

The palate is all Napa too: that vanilla accented red fruit that leads to chewy tannin and a hot finish. I hate ragging on my state's wines, but this has no discernable traits of its own.
