Pretty accessible with a short decant. Enjoyed in a wonderful little taverna in Siena, clearly a staff favorite as they fussed over it and brought us some extra gnocchi with truffle and pecorino to go with

2015. enjoyed w/real black truffles. damn. dense black and red fruits. medium tannins but lengthened w/the meal as it should.

A baby but had no patience to wait. Was better second day but nevertheless electric upon opening. Bright fruit and dark raspberry, spices and right balance of richness and acid.

Racy red cherries of course and starting to take on a little bit of an herbal and leathery undertone. Put on some weight with air but not quite the lengthy and complexity I had hoped.
