Vintage 2015 | predominantly mint in smell, beautiful, fresh taste, nice bitters, smell promises more than taste gives imo

Still a lot of legs on this one in terms of aging potential. Fantastic wine. So balanced. So full.

Perhaps an off bottle, already rather aged, light transparent, high on acid, tertiary tones.

So many Brunello normales have failed me >10 years but this was singing, smooth and ever so slightly dry, sour cherry and sandalwood. Superb.

Tobacco. Leather.

Perfectly aged. Couldn’t imagine this cellaring any longer. Any additional time would just mellow this out too much.

Smoke. Chocolate.

Well balanced.

Subtle dark fruit.

Wicked Brunello.

Young and powerful fruit. Fresh blasts of cherry. Good acidity. Still very vital

Garnet red. Red berries and some floral notes. Some earthy and dirt/dust notes too. Moderate tannins (7/10) with moderate plus acidity. Great texture and medium bodied. Dried cherries, savory notes and herbs on the palate. Super long finish, dry and some metallic notes in the finish. Drink till 2022.
