Fruity on the nose with fresh flowers, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, red currants, licorice, vanilla, French oak and light black pepper.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, cherries, strawberries, oak, forest floor and peppercorn.
Medium bodied with medium acidity.
Nice finish with big, strong tannins and black pepper.
This is a very nice Chianti Classico.
Can be had by itself or with Italian food.
13% alcohol by volume.

It amazes me constantly the mediocre, boring wines that I find on most restaurants in the US. This one is fine, not horrible, went well with the boring over cooked, over garliced pasta at the Italian restaurant in Wellington, Florida where we dined. Not that I expected any more, but still...
