It amazes me constantly the mediocre, boring wines that I find on most restaurants in the US. This one is fine, not horrible, went well with the boring over cooked, over garliced pasta at the Italian restaurant in Wellington, Florida where we dined. Not that I expected any more, but still...

Tastes like wood. Needs plenty of time to open up. Once open, it's soft, slightly tannic. Not bad, but not my first choice.
