Lean, pure, and slight greenness to the crunchy red fruit in this wine.

Medium ruby; medium intensity aromas of red cherry, red currant, red plum, underbrush, mushroom, wet leaves; dry, medium plus acid, medium minus tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, medium intensity flavors consistent with aromas; medium plus finish, delightful for what it is, very good

This, right now, at least, is unyielding as tight as a drum. Nose has intense crushed stone with a bit of bitter cherry. In the mouth, this is all scaffolding and no interior design. Minerally, good acids, tight, hard. This clearly needs time, but I’m wondering if it will ever get to a place where it’s actually pleasurable.

Nice burgundy characteristics but could use more depth. A bit dry but great with pork.

Super fruit forward but still needs a bit more time to balance out. Overall, this was a good café wine with steak frites in France.

Oh wow. For a California Pinot Noir wire lover, this real burgundy stuff is interesting. The fruit is there but you have to wait for it.
