I have opened tonight the Louis Bouillot Crémant de Bourgogne Brut Rosé. From Nuits-Saint-Georges. This a blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Gamay.
On the nose there is creamy strawberry, raspberry, cherry, red currant, red flowers, yeast and minerals.
On the palate I am getting sweet cherry, raspberry, strawberry, red apple, spice red currant, yasty dough and minerality.
This wine is medium bodied with a clean fresh mouthfeel and medium to medium + acidity that leaves you with a long red fruit mineral finish. Have a great weekend and please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂

Just had this at another tasting. Had this a while ago. Pinot based Cremant has ripe berry fruit, citrus and yeasty aromas. On the palate raspberry and strawberry with vivid acidity and good mousse. Medium finish, ending with mineral character, champagne like. Good value. I am going to do a blind tasting with Champ, Cremant & Cava. Stay tuned! Tasting Sample.

Wine fridge scavenging as the sun finally returns, and found something with the words “cremant” and “rose”—foolproof. And yet, this is a tad disappointing. The bready notes that should be *under* the pretty fruit are instead *over* it. Still, I’ve got a nice book pairing: “There There,” by Tommy Orange.

#cremantdebourgogne rosé with a fruit-forward yet still brut and approachable. You really can’t go wrong with Burgundy sparkling wines.

May 6th, 2016Nice Pinot Cremant. Aromas of red berry fruit. On the palate currants, raspberries and cranberry flavors with citrus notes. Fine bubbles with a light mousse. The finish is crisp, good balance, nice acidity and lingering with sweet fruit flavors. A nice value!

Nice bubbly. A little of the fruity side like a rose prosecco. Hints of red berries, fresh strawberry on the nose with a slight hint of artificial powdered fruit juice on the palate. Under $20 and with it.
